First time?

It takes four steps

  1. 1

    Pick your park

Three parks, three different days out. The picker above does it in three taps.

  2. 2

    Sign the waiver

Online, before you leave the house. One per player.

  3. 3

    Choose your package

Private group or open play, and how much paint you want to start with.

  4. 4

    Pick your date and time

Add a rough head count. They are happy to take last minute additions.

Sign the waiver before you leave home

Every player needs one, and under 18s need a parent or guardian to sign. It takes a couple of minutes online: Central · Quest · 280.

Pick a park and book

A full group geared up and ready to play
Does it hurt?

They use special ammo and equipment for first timers. Most people equate it to a rubber band pop — and if that is still too much, Gellyball and NERF are there instead.

Does it stain?

No. The paint is water based and non-staining, and washes out of clothes and hair with a little water. It is an outdoor sport, so grass and mud are on you.

What should we wear?

Light, loose clothing with as much coverage as you want, layered for the weather. Closed toe shoes are required. A change of clothes is never a bad idea.

Can we bring our own food?

Yes. Any outside food or drink is allowed, and you can grill out on site.

Can we bring our own gear?

At Quest, yes — your own marker is fine as long as you are not in a private low-impact party, though outside paintballs are never allowed. At Central and 280, rental gear only.

How long does a game last?

Three to ten minutes, depending on the format and how many are playing. Expect to use 50 – 100 paintballs a game.

Who can play?

Men, women and children on the same field. Low-impact paintball is good from age 6; Gellyball and NERF cover 4 and up.

Do we need a waiver?

Yes, and every park takes it online before you arrive. Under 18s need a parent or guardian to sign.
